On the morning of Wednesday, June 7, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners were to appoint four of the Board of Registration and Elections members, two Republicans and two Democrats. Both Democrats currently sitting on the Board were reappointed, but only one of the Republican nominees were appointed. It is clear in the Fulton County Ordinance, 14-33, that the nominations from each political party’s chair “shall be appointed” by the governing body of the county. They did not do that. The county attorney articulated that the only requirements of the nominees is that they are a Fulton County resident and not running for elected office. Despite this, three Democrat Commissioners: Robb Pitts, Khadijah Abdur-Rahman, and Dana Barrett violated the law, and consequently their oaths by voting no, an action that has not been taken by a single Commissioner for a single partisan nominee in at least the last ten years. Fulton County continues to be lawless. One of our nominees, Mr. Jason Frazier, is a man of character and is highly qualified for the job. No one, including the three Democrat Commissioners, could give a substantive reason for their entirely political and illegal actions. Many have slandered Mr. Frazier’s good name all because he helped the county do their job by maintaining a more accurate and clean voter roll, which is required by state law. Mark Niesse of the Atlanta Journal Constitution went as far to make a defamatory comment about Mr. Frazier saying “In a vast attempt to disqualify Georgia voters”. Mr. Niesse made a gross, inaccurate assumption of Mr. Frazier’s intent, all while he cannot name a single legitimate voter who has been disqualified. We thank Mr. Frazier for his countless hours of helping improve Fulton County. Not only has he done the job of the county, but his actions help in saving the county money and protecting the right to vote. Something that isn’t controversial for the honest people of Fulton County. It is some Democrats and other highly partisan groups, that claim they are non- partisan, who have made this non-controversial appointment entirely partisan. Do they not believe in following the law? Do they not believe in being responsible stewards of taxpayer money, and do they not believe in protecting the right to vote? Either way, their actions suggest exactly this. Fulton County residents should be up in arms and more than alarmed at such disregard of the law and their oaths by these three Fulton County Commissioners.

Fulton has 150,000 people on rolls eligible to vote that are not alive, no longer eligible to vote because they have moved, become a felon or a number of other serious reasons not to allow folks to vote in their names through absentee ballot. WISE UP DEMOCRATS, OR MAYBE THEYVE ALREADY WISED UP AND USING THE 150,000 TO SWAY ELECTIONS.
