We Don’t Want You “Out On The Brazos”

An organization called "Waco Pride Network" is conducting an event called "Out On The Brazos" on October 18th, 2025 at Indian Springs Park. The stated purpose of this event (taken directly from their website) is "celebrating LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual + *M.A.P., or Minor Attracted Persons, meaning adults who are sexually attracted to minor children)* pride, visibility, and community in the heart of Waco."

We don't want our families and children exposed to public events devoted to sexuality, perversion, anti-nuclear family values, or mental illness. Keep these to yourself. Don't force these things on us or our children in our public spaces. You asked for tolerance, you got it. We won't tell you what your sexual preferences must be, but don't think for a minute we'll sit idly by while you flaunt your sick sexual choices on us and our children in our public spaces. After all, we know that's exactly what your real agenda is - to go after our children and seduce them into your perverted lifestyle. If your real agenda were simply "tolerance" (meaning that we tolerate you and don't question you about what you do in the privacy of your own home) then you wouldn't see the need to put on events like these in the first place. Leave our children alone. Keep your sick displays out of our public spaces. We're not interested, we're not curious, and we're not amused. Public displays of such disgusting, sexually oriented things change our city, disrupt our peace, and limit where we can comfortably take our families and children, and we're not okay with that. We are the majority. You don't have a right to forcibly expose us to your depraved and reprehensible lifestyle choices in the name of phony "tolerance" or "inclusion".

**By signing this petition, you're telling Mayor Jim Holmes that you want him to take action to stop this public event and events like it from taking place in the City of Waco.** Public events devoted to highlighting or "celebrating" sexuality, perversion, anti-nuclear family values, or other mental illness don't belong in our city's public spaces. In addition, we don't want them advertising or soliciting our families, children, or grandchildren to support their perverse causes. They have no other agenda besides infecting our youth with their deviant lifestyle choices, and we as citizens do not want our city to allow this to happen in our public places. Ask Mayor Holmes to take decisive action in support of our families, our children and grandchildren, and stop this public event (and others like it) from taking place in our great city.
