Tell Snoqualmie Valley officials no to taxes for a regional pool

For the third time Snoqualmie Valley area residents within the Si View Parks district rejected funding for a new pool / aquatic center. Many do not view a publicly funded pool to be an appropriate use of tax dollars and are increasingly concerned with tax burdens to area residents. Regardless of the source of tax revenues as being the parks district, the Snoqualmie Valley School District, the city of Snoqualmie, the city of North Bend, King County and so on the issue of controlling increases in taxes and the responsible use of tax dollars for essential and necessary items is key. As taxpayers we are tired of being squeezed by multiple taxing districts... it is all taxes. One may ask if the demand for a aquatic center is so great then why is this not an opportunity for private enterprise to build such? Please join with fellow fiscal conservatives to express your desire for fiscal and tax restraint to reject public tax supported funding for a public pool or aquatic center.
