Stop the Persecution of Christians in America

Stop the Persecution of Christians in America

The DOJ wants to imprison Christians for exercising their First Amendment rights.

The brave Christian man in the photo above is Paul Vaughn (pictured with his family). His crime? Peacefully protesting in front of an abortion clinic because of his Christian faith.

Paul Vaughn and five other devout Christians face up to eleven years in prison for taking a stand for the defenseless. Their faith led them to peacefully exercise their First Amendment rights to freedom of expression and free exercise of religion by peacefully protesting in front of an abortion clinic in Mt. Juliet, TN.

They did not commit violence or disturb the peace. All they were doing was taking a stand in defense of Life—the most fundamental and inalienable right given by God to all, born or unborn, and a right guaranteed to all by the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution. They did this because they were Christians whose faith led them to put the words of Proverbs 24:11 into practice: "Rescue those led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter."

The DOJ justifies this blatant disregard of the Constitution by citing the unconstitutional FACE act, which was passed in defiance of the First Amendment, which says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Letter to
Tennessee Attorney General, Jonathan Skrmetti

Dear Mr. Skrmetti,

We, the signers of this petition, ask you to challenge the totalitarian Communist DOJ's attempt to make America more like an anti-God Christian dystopia.

One of the many ways the Communists want to do this is by imprisoning five brave pro-life Christians for their Christian faith.

Their faith led them to exercise their First Amendment rights to freedom of expression and free exercise of religion by protesting in front of a murder clinic in Mt. Juliet, TN, in defense of the right to Life—the most fundamental and inalienable right given by God to all, born or unborn, and a right guaranteed to all by the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution.

The Communists think this right can be stripped away by man-made, God-hating, unconstitutional laws like the unconstitutional, pro-murder FACE act, which dangles the threat of years behind cold, iron bars over those with the courage to stand between an innocent unborn child and a torturous death at the hands of death cult priests disguised as doctors.

They have prosecuted these five heroes, namely, Chester Gallagher, Paul Vaughn, Heather Idoni, Calvin Zastrow, Coleman Boyd, and Dennis Green, for violations of this act, which is unconstitutional because it violates their right to believe in and act in line with their Christian faith.

Specifically, we ask that he challenge the FACE act and the Communist DOJ's prosecution of Gallagher, et al. as unconstitutional for violating the defendants rights to:

(1) freedom of expression of their Christian beliefs and (2) the right to free exercise of religion,

both of which were regarded as so fundamental by our Founders that they placed them in the very first Amendment to our Constitution, which trumps the FACE act, being our nation's governing document.

Specifically, the First Amendment declares that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech."

Which is exactly what Congress did when it passed the FACE act, which has been weaponized by the Communists against peaceful Christian citizens who believe in and act in line with their Christian faith, as informed by the Bible: "Rescue those led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter." (Proverbs 24:11 NIV)

All we ask, Mr. Skrmetti, is that you fulfill your duty before God and your constituency—we ask that you seek justice for these five brave Christians who dared to speak up for the innocent, the voiceless, and the oppressed.

They were courageous enough to do what they knew to be right. Are you?

Signed, The Free Citizens of Tennessee and the United States of America
