Texas is facing a quiet but accelerating challenge to its constitutional principles and way of life. Sharia is not simply a personal religious practice. It is a comprehensive political and legal system that asserts supremacy over man-made laws, including the U.S. and Texas Constitutions.
While Texas has taken important steps, including strong American Laws for American Courts principles and the overwhelming voter mandate of Proposition 10 (94.81% approval) — enforcement gaps remain. We are already seeing the effects in our communities: religious proselytizing and Sharia-aligned accommodations in public schools, large mosque developments in growing suburban and ETJ areas with limited local oversight, pressure for halal mandates and special treatment in taxpayer-funded spaces, and foreign-influenced organizations operating with little transparency.
Former federal agent Dave Gaubatz went undercover at EPIC mosque in Plano. His sworn affidavit found:
- hardcore Salafist/Wahhabi ideology with 9/10 Sharia compliance
- Violent JIhad books used by terrorists groups
- A leader starting non-muslims can't buy home there without converting
- On site school teaching these doctrines, Gaubatz called it a terrorist sleeper cell front & said its tax-exempt status should be revoked.
These trends mirror patterns in Europe that produced parallel societies, demands to limit free speech, and erosion of womens and minority rights. Texas must act now to close loopholes before Sharia-based parallel systems become entrenched in our state.
We the people respectfully but firmly request for Governor Gregory Abbott to do the following (work with congress if you have to)
- Not one taxpayer dollar should support any ideology incompatible with the U.S. Constitution
- Halal food should not be offered in public schools. For students who do no pack a lunch, schools should provide neutral alternatives such as a robust salad bar, there are over 40 different languages spoken in public schools, we can not honor all 40 accommodations. Every dollar spent on halal flows back to networks tied to the muslim brotherhood. (PLEASE READ THE MUSLIM BROTHER MEMORANDUM)
- Sharia compliant financing must be banned in the state of Texas
- Pull state funding from any school that makes the quran (or other sharia aligned materials) available in libraries or events in ways that promote or proselytize sharia.
Previous legislation has been passed, but it remains vagues and poorly enforced.
WE THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS AND THE UNITED STATES DEMAND IT.
