The United States faces a growing constitutional challenge from political Islam and Sharia law. Sharia is not a private religious practice like kosher dietary rules. It is a comprehensive political, legal, and social system that claims supremacy over man-made constitutions and demands special accommodations that conflict with equal protection, free speech, womens rights, and religious liberty.
We already see the results in Europe: parallel Sharia councils, no-go areas, grooming gang scandals enabled by political correctness, and rising demands to limit criticism of Islam. In the United States we are witnessing similar patterns, attempts to introduce Sharia into family courts, pressure for halal mandates in schools and institutions, foreign funding of mosques and organizations that promote supremacist ideology, and incidents of religious intimidation in public schools.
It is the sworn duty of Congress to protect the American people and the U.S. Constitution from any threat domestic or foreign, that seeks to undermine our republican form of government. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.
I urge you to immediately draft and aggressively advance legislation that:
- Establishes a federal American Laws for American Courts statute to prevent any foreign or religious law (including Sharia) from being applied in U.S. courts when it conflicts with constitutional rights.
- Implements strict ideological screening and pauses immigration from countries whose legal systems are based on Sharia until robust assimilation and vetting standards are proven.
- Ends taxpayer funding and tax-exempt status for organizations that advocate or enforce Sharia principles in America.
- Requires full transparency on foreign funding of mosques, Islamic centers, and advocacy groups operating in the United States.
- A complete pause on immigration for the next 100 years
- An immigration ban from every middle east country
- Officially deeming islam a political ideology, not a religion
We the People demand that you defend this nations foundational principles. One Law for All. America First. The Constitution must be protected, or those who refuse to defend it should step aside.
I have detailed legislative proposals and supporting documentation ready if your office would like them.
