The parents, students, and residents of Fremont County deserve know what the school board's intentions are regarding the proposed Transgender Policy AC-E3. It is imperative that parents know if this policy, or a policy similar to this one, will be implemented for the 2022/2023 school year. Parents deserve to know the environment that their students will be entering so that if that environment is not healthy or beneficial for their children, they have the opportunity to find an alternative educational solution. We consider a delay beyond Oct. 1, 2022 in announcing the board's intentions regarding this policy to be a sign of bad faith from the school board. We, the parents, students, and residents of Fremont County, insist that the board be open and honest regarding this policy.
