Senator Lisa Murkowski voted to impeach Donald J. Trump, which was completely unconstitutional given the fact that the conditions for impeachment pertain to a sitting president.
Secondly, the grounds of impeachment, which are treason, are a completely erroneous charge. President Trump, prior to January 6, 2021, asked for the National Guard to be put in place in Washington D.C. in order to safeguard the Capitol Building and all citizens and buildings in the area where the final decision about the 2020 presidential election were to be held.
Now President Trump is being accused of inciting the violence which happened on the 6th. He would not have asked for the National Guard to be present if he had any intention of hoping for harm or destruction to happen on the 6th in D.C.
Mrs Murkowski's actions, solidify that she no longer represents the constituents who elected her to office. She has betrayed the trust and failed to honor the will of the majority of Alaskan voters who elected her.
Mrs Murkowski was appointed to office by her father, corrupt ex-governor of Alaska Frank Murkowski (R) - who was accused of Accepted illegal polling from VECO for over $20,000.
During her time in office, she secured $6 million in federal funds to build a road leading straight to a plot of land she bought - but was forced to sell - after being exposed July 16th by the TPMmuckraker website.
Like her father, Mrs Murkowski is interested in self interest instead of the will of the people to whom she represents.
Mrs Murkowski needs to be removed from office immediately.
