Stop Child Mutilation in WV

Hospitals across the nation such as Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Boston Children’s hospital have recently been exposed for their “gender-affirming care” a.k.a child mutilation. Many West Virginians seem to think that this craziness only happens in places like California and would never happen here in the Mountain State. Unfortunately, that could not be further from the truth.

WVU Medicine Children’s “Gender and Sexual Development Clinic” offers gender affirming care for kids as young as three years old. According to their website, they offer many services in this area including "menstrual suppression medication”, "pubertal blocking medication”, and “gender-affirming hormones.” They say that their goal is for every young person who enters their clinic to feel “seen and affirmed.” So these children can be chemically castrated, but at least they’ve been affirmed.

If you’re wondering why hospitals like WVU Medicine Children’s are participating in the butchering of children, all you have to do is follow the money. In video uncovered by conservative podcaster Matt Walsh, Dr. Shayne Taylor convinces Vanderbilt University Medical Center to begin offering transgender surgeries because it’s a “big money maker.” I guess the love of money is still the root of all evil.

If this hasn’t made you sick yet, it gets worse. Your tax dollars are funding this madness. In the 2023 General Revenue Budget, the West Virginia legislature allocated over $21 million to WVU School of Medicine. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, your super-majority Republican legislature is funding child castration!

The time for sitting on the sidelines is over. Sign our petition to tell the West Virginia legislature you want them to put an end to child mutilation in West Virginia! We can’t expect them to act on their own. Let them know that we will not be silent anymore!
