National Ad Campaign for Mental Health Awareness

National Ad Campaign for Mental Health Awareness
640 view

In light of the recent mass murders committed by those who had been demonstrating obvious mental health problems and concerning behaviors, it is imminent that a national ad campaign begin to motivate those who have family members who are showing signs of possibly becoming a threat to themselves or others to seek help for their mentally unwell loved ones as soon as possible. Many people choose to live in denial when they see a family member demonstrating strange and potentially dangerous ideologies and behaviors because it's hard to make the decision to do what will most likely upset the troubled person. But the repercussions of not addressing the problem can result in much bigger and more serious problems. This petition will be presented to the National Alliance on Mental Illness - nami.org to then be presented to the Ad Council.
