To apply President Trump's January 2025 "Gender" Executive Orders to the Putnam County (Florida) School District and to eliminate the risk that our school district will lose federal funding, we demand School Board Superintendent Surrency be proactive and transparent in his efforts to eradicate transgender ideology from Putnam County Public Schools.
Specifically, we demand Dr. Surrency:
- Instruct all employees, notably teachers, to immediately trash Biden’s Executive Orders and all other policies that in any way support transgender ideology.
- Instruct all employees, notably teachers, to apply President Trump’s "Gender" Executive Orders to how they communicate and otherwise interact with public school children.
- As they are created, instruct teachers to implement any and all federal and state policies that support the biological reality of males and females.
- Provide additional instruction to all those teachers who were certified to teach by trans-activists, such as Dr. Rebekah Cordova, to ensure they no longer directly or indirectly influence children to support transgender ideology.
- Appoint a "Girls are girls and Boys are boys" Task Force to monitor the prevalence and severity of transgender ideology in the public schools. The Task Force shall consist of the principal (or his or her designee) of each Putnam County School and the parent of a child who attends that school. The Task Force shall be chaired by Dr. Sharon Fair, PT, PsyD, PhD.
- On at least a quarterly basis, keep the Putnam County community abreast of the findings, analyses and recommendations of the "Girls are girls and Boys are boys" Task Force.
